When and Why We Recommend Private Lessons
Our Accelerated Group Piano Program is designed to build fluent, independent musicians — students progress faster, read more confidently, and develop a strong foundation in music. However, once students reach an intermediate level and are reading comfortably, we may recommend adding a weekly private lesson to deepen their skills. Private lessons allow students to explore advanced piano repertoire or begin a second instrument, such as violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, drums & percussion, or banjo. These 30- or 45-minute weekly sessions are available for students ages 6 and up and work best when paired with continued participation in group piano to maintain reading fluency and overall musicianship.
